Mike, our photographer who resides here in the Portland, Oregon area focusing on photographing people. He brings a positive, easy-going energy to his sessions. He believes his role is to capture the essence of the subjects, connecting with them as individuals. While he takes his photography seriously, he tries to not take himself too seriously.

“I started photography as a child when I was foolishly given a Kodak Instamatic. My dad loved photography, too, so I’d like to think he gave me that camera. Feeling uncomfortable being photographed myself, I dissolve the barrier between those in front of and behind the camera.
