A New Promise – A young woman at the crossroads of major decision makes a innocent mistake while trying to navigate the process of figuring out what is best for her.
Second Story – She is running late while trying to keep working, as usual. He has his hands full with a surprise, as usual. Also, The four walls of the elevator force the pair of them to interact. After each of them gets the opportunity to help the other, they’ll leave the elevator different than when they entered.

A New Promise/Second Story
A New Promise and Second Story are the films that we made in 2017 and 2020, written and directed by Christina M. Dodge and Michael W. Dodge. Additionally, A New Promise was awarded the Best Short Film prize at the Oregon Independent Film Festival in 2017. Also, second story was selected to appear in ten film festivals from all over the country and internationally. We share our experience and process of independent filmmaking here in Oregon.
